BUYERS: You MUST register and receive an auction paddle with a number on it, which must be returned when you leave the auction. Successful bidders may leave the auction at any time upon surrender of the paddle and payment in full by CASH, MONEY OEDER,or NYS BANK CHECK payable to “CNY Div., NER-NMRA” . Payment must be made in full before leaving the building with winning auction items. As in the past, there will be a 10% buyers premium added onto the total. The preview and buyer registration stats at 9:30 a.m. Saturday Morning and no earlier. Please respect these times as we will be busy checking in auction items and lots prior to this time.

SELLERS: Registration of seller items will begin at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. You must have your items identified, numbered and registered to get your items onto the auction tables. The forms are listed above as downloadable pdf files. The trick is to be ready and organized before arriving that morning...the sooner the better, and NOW would be a great time. In using the blank seller item tags, cut them apart, PRINT NEATLY all the information needed including your own item numbers after the “dash”and please start with “-01”, and have them taped to the lots...all prior to the auction. You will also need to fill out the seller registration form which needs to be in the Auction Clerks possession as soon as possible, and certainly no later than the Saturday morning seller registration deadline time. The clerk will need the time to enter the data into the auction computer, so the sooner you forward it to them (mailing address on bottom of seller info sheet) the better for everyone...your consideration for our volunteer clerks is appreciated.

Finally, this is a RESERVED auction, which means you may set a minimum bid amount. If the auctioneer cannot get the minimum, you’ll be asked right on the floor if you want to waive the minimum amount, so be prepared to be called upon. Payment will be made to the sellers by mail 2 weeks after the auction to allow our bank to clear all checks. Other details, if any, will be announced prior to the auction.

The Annual CNY Division M.O.W. Service Award

Congratulations to 2017 recipient
Len Amrhein

The MOW (Maintenance Of Way) Service Award, instituted in 2001, is presented each year to any division member who has demonstrated Exemplary Service to our Central New York Division, in any way, past or present. The award itself is held by the recipient for the year term in which it is given, until awarded the following year to a new winner. Each recipient, nominated by any division member, then chosen from the nominations by the MOW Award Committee) becomes a life member of said award committee, and is no longer eligible to receive the award a second time. The award was instituted so as to recognize those members who have given of themselves to our Division for the benefit of the entire membership.
